We're etching 1,124 little pictures onto a 29mm sapphire disk in gold this May. Looking for cool stuff to include — pixel art, sketches, drawings, photos, anything that reads in 500×500 black-and-white.

A 5-inch sapphire plate with the first billion digits of π etched in gold. 750 nanometers per pixel — at the limit of visible light.
